Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By launching or playing DotDot ("the game"), a Dots & Boxes game, whether as a Discord Activity or in a web browser, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

2. The service

The game lets two players draw lines on a shared grid to claim boxes. It is provided for entertainment. Features may change, and the game may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the game for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the game, its server, or other players' sessions.
• Do not use automated means to gain an unfair advantage, and treat other players with respect.

4. Discord

When used as a Discord Activity, the game runs on Discord's platform and your use is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service. Your Discord username and avatar are shown to the other player in your match.

5. Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the game uses.

6. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
